what's the problem golovkin in an active fighter and because of canelo his been left with no opponent so what does he do stay inactive till someone decent fights him or have a tune up because he will need one before a big fight because of canelos games

 

I hardly see anyone defending Golovkin at all.

Sure, HBO did not put up good money but that's immaterial as Derevyanchenko wasn't even given the option of fighting for short money. Team GGG should have at least shown interest in making the fight. Either that or cancel May 5 and fight BJS in the summer.

 

Why weren't people crying about a duck prior to the Canelo fight falling through? I did not hear one time, when the rematch was announced, that G was ducking Deveyenkolasavinowski!

 

You guys are being irrational. Golovkin spent close to an entire training camp working on a very specific gameplan for Clenelo. If they want a soft touch when his mentality/training has been focused on another opponent, it's completely understandable. It's just like if Ward trained for the Kovalev rematch and then Kovalev pulled out with less than a month to go, Ward isn't going to fight Beterbiev, Vozdyk (yes, I'm aware that I crazy butchered his name), or Bivol.

If Golovkin doesn't face Sergiy after the May 5 opponent, you can then and only then call it a duck.
