Dibella just gave this matchup a big hype boost. He gave all the GGG critics somebody to root for in a fight they normally wouldn't care about. What Dibella did, while wrong, was clever.

For me personally, I don't think Derevchenko is even ready for a GGG fight but he is the mando and would require just a percentage of the short money being offered to stage the event, so if I'm not mistaken he's already accepted the terms so why not go and fight him and get it out of the way.

The % works only in case of purse bid. And none was ordered until now. I'd fire my manager/promoter if I'm no 1 contender and he'd put me in vs GGG for only 250K.

Any mandatory fighter can demand millions. Remember Jacobs ?

Martin Murray is nothing more than a glorified journeyman. He never did fight in that match he got a check to get punched because he was scared. The first time I watched GGG take multiple uppercuts from weak Willie Monroe I knew he was a goddamn hype. Good fundamental fighter, but a hype. The Kell Brook sealed the deal and not just with me but ask any trainer out there about watching a guy get hit with uppercuts fight after fight with no defense EVER. They'll tell you that the man, Gennady Golovkin, has zero inside game which none of the Eastern European guys have.
I swear to whatever god you praise that it's not in their regimen to fight up close. ALL OF THOSE GUYS LOSE TO INSIDE FIGHTERS ALL THE TIME.
I'm not being bias I promise, that is the truth to the boxing gods. Soviet fights, including Cubans, are outside fighters. It's no coincidence that Loma loss to Salido and duck pressure guys and that Kovalev loss twice to Ward, a pressure guy. Golovkin is not a pressure fighter and he will not fight one ever.

Funny, when Povetkin tested positive for PED they wanted to his head on a platter for fighting Dehuappa.

Here is the highlight reel of Golovkin taking uppercuts in multiple fights with no defensive change up until now.
Whenever a fighter is close Golovkin backs up as they throw and he eats punches. That's not pressure.
If you want to keep ignoring the flaws then fine, but don't put any fighter on a pedestal that has not proven to belong there.

Look at Monroe throw uppers and land everytime.

Kell Brook exposed the guy but was overwhelmed by the naturally bigger guy moving him up from 2 weight classes below.

Jacobs was teeing off whenever GGG got close and GGG had no answer or defense for the attack.

Finally, Canelo becoming an uppercut machine pushing Gennady's nose bone and chin up all night long.

It's written all throughout this forum. Nothing is false except when it comes to fighters you seem to idolize Lance.

Who are the pressure fighters that Lomachenko has ducked?

All of them that he could. Bob and his biological fighter kept him away from a Salido 2 fight and has been over the moon to avoid anyone that can back this guy up.

    @Willie Maeket

I agree that Loma is ridiculously overrated.

The fact that the P4P top 10's main criteria for inclusion is 'Fighting in America', proves just how useful it is as a measuring tool.

Pretty much just a marketing tool to promote US boxing.

Usyk's resume > Lomachenko's....But Usyk isn't fighting in the US.

Golovkin might do a Canelo and hand over his belts to
Dereveyachenko now my friends that would be the Ultimate Duck.!!!!
