So was it really just pictures??? Or a deal???? A BJ??? WHAT HAPPENED I MUST KNOW there musta been some third party gym rat peepin. Were they really investors and Ellerbe is prepping another "there was no negotiations" or were they nobodies and Arum is scheming that they "tried to negotiate but those guys wouldnt listen" ????? :wall :ko :izzl
"He was in a group of people that came by the gym and was greeted by Floyd, who is friendly with everybody that comes by the gym,'' Ellerbe said. Leonard Ellerbe, Mayweather's advisor, said there was nothing to the visit and that no business was discussed between the parties while Koncz was there. So there were in fact people with Koncz. So its either they discussed something or they didn't, either way someones lying
He was there for a photo op so they can go back and say "see, we reached out to Mayweather" Knowing damn well it is all BS, Arum does now want the fight to happen, because, They will agree on a purse split, then Pac will see how much Arum is trully taking him for....When he knows how much was paid to his team, and how much ended up in his bank account.
Ellerbe might just be trying to negotiate privately instead of running to the media at the first sign of progress. Koncz also said if this fight is to happen negotiations need to remain secret and outside the media. Yet bob arum keeps on yapping about every single thing happening, can't he shut his mouth and let things take it's course. Why is he constantly talking about the investors when he won't even name them?
Arum says he sent Koncz(with investors) to meet Floyd and Roger Mayweather conducted the meeting. Arum said Koncz relayed information to Mayweather about the investment offers, in a meeting facilitated by Roger Mayweather, the fighterÂ’s uncle and trainer.
The best thing that can happen for fight fans is for us to hear absolutely nothing. During negotiations, Team Mayweather has historically been eerily quiet. No news is good news.
True. I also second the fact that some people want to keep the situation under wraps. Only problem is in those types of negotiating it's easy to back off without getting widespread media and public criticism. The less public info there is, the more advantageous it is to the party who aims to manipulate the situation and repaint the scenario
