I'm just wondering why the shorter man is trying to fight on the outside, Lemeiux's strategy is terrible!
Lemieux is still dancing around fighting on the outside, I have no clue how he expects to land anything meaningful like that.
Well all you guys that said GGG is so easy to hit what do you say now. He fights someone with real power and fights defensibly responsible. He annihilated him with the jab alone and took almost no damage in return and to answer your question......the jab kept him at bay on the outside.
You can't assess if G is easy to hit or not based on this fight because Lemeiux strategy was so bad! I did see that G has a nice jab though
Yeah, I was really digging his jab. A lot of power behind it, enough to make you hesitant enough to try and avoid it more than you usually would. I felt bad for Lemieux kind of, I ended up half rooting for him because he was being so dominated, I'm not sure what they trained for and what their strategy was, but either GGG completely spoiled it and had Lemieux too scared to try to stick to it, or they were completely stupid and tried a strategy they couldn't win with.
Yes you can because lemeius is a world level offensive fighter with serious bang. Tactics can go out of a window in a fight depending on ability or the situation, and in the 6 round when ggg was going for the finish, DL landed some meaningful shots making ggg revert to using the jab to keeping him at bay on the outside.
A fighter that can't adjust to a jab or use a plan B is lacking in skills and ability. Lemeiux fought one way and made no adjustments
Errmmm ... you think perhaps that jab you noticed might have been the reason Lemmy couldn't get inside? Just sayin'.
That jab was absent in his last few fights. I think Adama was the last guy he worked the bazooka jab on. Forgot how good it was. Subtle movement and a great jab shut him completely out.
