    Floyd told you. He didn't make a big stink. This always goes on. You were lucky to even view how they judge which gloves to wear.

    They didn't have any padding in the area where it needed padding. A 37 year old #1 pfp great knows the difference between good gloves and bad gloves.

    Can you believe that I've been accused of crying because of how you scored the Floyd fight?

    None of you clowns had Maidana winning. Most of you had a close fight, but had Floyd winning...yet I'm crying about how some of YOU scored the fight???

    Ask any serious athlete how they would feel if someone changed their most important piece of equipment right before they competed. It's psychological at a minimum.

    Mark Messier wore the same shoulderpads in the NHL that he did in the juniors.

    How do you think Leo Messi or Adrien Petersen would feel if you changed their cleats before a game.

    It matters. Would he punch harder? I can't say, but it does matter.

    What if Floyd had to use Reyes? Could his hands last 12 rounds??? Maybe, maybe not.

    Those gloves were made custom for their effectiveness in rabbit punching which is Maidana's favourite punch.

    Never ceases to amaze me how supposed "fans" of boxing with 1000+ post on a BOXING forum act like they never heard about standard Mexican style pro gloves.:patsch

    They are used in probably at least half of pro fights in North America by one or both fighters.
    Broner and Collazo wore those type of gloves on this very same card.
