This whole thing is laughable. The reason why the fight aint happening is because of promotion, you better believe the fighter wants it, I even think YOU want it Bill, but the people in control dont.....because if they did, this fight could have been made for February, absolutely f*cking no problem. Even more so because Ricky didnt fight before Christmas on the scheduled date (lets not even get into all that mess)

I don't think there is clear top fighter at 135 lbs, Abril if he had of got the official win over Rios should be number 1. DeMarco I don't think clearly established himself as number 1 no more so than say Burns or Vasquez.

You have to rate Rees in front of Burns if he wins yes, would be a massive win, one of the best for a British fighter in the last 20 years. I'd probably still favour Burns to beat Rees if they fought though

 

You think the DeMarco win is better than Katsidis? Remarkable, I'd say it's the best name on either man's resume. Broner doesn't have someone as solid yet.

 

Come on mate, Katsidis was done. I know many (probably a significant majority) were convinced he was going to batter Burns, but they couldn't have seen the Marquez/Guerrero bouts.
