The Barker fight still sells if he sets a good account for himself. Lee to.

Smigga, then a fight with Barker.

Don't think Lee will fight Macklin in Ireland/U.K. It would have to be on HBO.

    why not ???

if they took lee - mcewan and were going to take lee- duddy then yes imo HBO would take the fight which is a much better fight than the other 2

I'm not sure macklin has got it in him to start again, hes been around a while now and i think its now or never. He will never get back into this position if he loses to sturm. Hope i'm wrong but i dont think the end is far away.

Would still have the Barker fight to fall back on.

If he gives a good account of himself he could put himself in the frame for fights against some of the younger champions like N'Jikan, Golovkin or even Pirog. I don't think any of these are looking to step up and fight the elite just yet.

Step up, pirogs champion. Dont want to **** on macks party but pirogs a tougher fight for him than sturm, i think it would be a brutal fight for mack after 5/6 rounds

Yes they would. They were prepared to take Duddy and Lee and they took Lee and McEwan.

You trying to say McEwan was some sort of draw because of that. That's a load of bollocks, he's as unknown as Macklin in the States.

I don't see Pirog as a step up from Sturm as such. Sturm is the established name while Pirog is the new kid on the block (although he's 30). If Macklin gives Sturm problems then I can see him staying in the mix and getting fights with the likes of Pirog, Golovkin and N'Jikam.

But I do agree in terms of ability, Pirog is a step up and a much tougher fight.
