You're correct Dino in what you say but in the same way he would not have wanted to have a fight ,lose & then make up excuse afterwards, he's better than that ...he's not a Charlo. or canelo etc

Not sure. I know he "supposedly" was getting injections during camp.

Weird really but I guess its sods law...he's been out of the ring for 14 months , probably overtrained, its how I did mine ...but i have'nt got no Paachenko lookin over my shoulder so makes you think "how"?

Still it may have been doing other stuff basketball etc but lets face it he is an Elite athlete him & Uysk dont **** about so I am puzzled about this & even more so that he would not take his dad's advice...Unbelievable really ?

Unlike Rigo and other cowards, Loma never complained or made excuses. He fought with one gold shoulder and came up short. Made it interesting in the later rounds.

I hope this forces him to drop to 130 and fight guys his own size. Too much wear and tear to be fighting too bigger guys. The guy is fearless and will probably stay at 135 for a while but it’s not smart for a guy his size and age.

David haye went 12 rounds with Wlad when he had a broken toe, should we start a thread about that too?

Do people even stop to think before they speak? lol. What do you think would've happened if he'd pulled out of the fight? He'd already been out 14 months for goodness sake, if he'd pulled out all these deranged demons would be accusing him of ducking the fight saying that it was a deliberate ploy and stalling tactic to weaken Lopez because the later has made it abundantly clear the 135 clock is ticking and can't make the weight for much longer.

Loma would've been out for a bare minimum of another 7 months and a good chance significantly longer because, as per the experts, it takes 12 months to recover fully from these type of shoulder injuries and surgeries and I suspect he'd have to actually follow his surgeon's advice and not rush back as quickly as he did last time since it's the second time the shoulder has gone.

He came back 7 months after his last surgery (which like I said is really early) when he fought Pedraza and didn't even start throwing his right hook until about round 9, IIRC. He had to devise a game plan with his surgeon's input for that fight which revolved around not throwing that punch or if doing so only sparingly. He could've been out anything up to a year this time but lets just call it seven months for the sake of argument. That still would've been close to two years he was out of action in total, but then he's supposed to jump right back into a unification match up against the extremely dangerous Lopez after a layoff that long? He wouldn't have had a choice in the matter because the chorus of ''you're ducking Teo'' would've been deafening from the same deranged hate squads had he quite understandably wanted to take a tune up first.

There were already several years ago when the fight occurred.

Makes sense. I said twice in the first four rounds he was fighting like an injured fighter. He should have postponed the fight if the injury occurred six weeks beforehand.

It made sense for Pacquiao. You can't pull out of a fight you've been trying to make for five years worth one hundred million dollars to you. But Lomachenko had almost nothing on the line here. He's getting paid peanuts by ESPN fighting a young somewhat known fighter for one belt. You can put that off for a couple of months and the fight will still be there the same as before.

David Haye never had a broken toe, when Wlad asked him to provide proof such as a medical report etc he never did.. and anyway, even if he did, having a broken pinky is a bit different to having a recurring rotator cuff injury on your lead right hand, rotator cuff injuries have ruined many careers whereas a broken toe would barely faze my 12 year old. Go ask boxers who have suffered a rotator cuff injury just how damaging they can be..

Nor was Haye out for 14 months.

You use the term character on this site? I bet all both of my nutts if the score cards were identical, but for Loma, your ass wouldn't be on here talking about the character of the judges. You'd be talking about how he's the greatest, could beat Duran, Whiteker and Mayweather and on and on. Character? LOL
