I mean but how serious was the injury is the question. He looked dejected after the fight and claimed that he won. I tjink if he had a serious enough injury that could have hindered his performance i dont think he would have fought the way he did in rounds 7-11. We didnt even hear it from his mouth or from his teams mouth until it came out un an article on ESPN. i Honestly think that he voluntarily got the surgery, and probably could have just rested and let it heal on its own. Now theres so many questions and now it sort of puts an asterisk near this great win for fimo.

I think thinking that he won is much more deserving of criticism than getting shoulder surgery. As for it not coming out until later, looking at the fallout now from getting medical treatment I can only imagine how guys like you would be going after him if he said it in the immediate aftermath during Lopez's big moment.

As for the voluntary surgery I think you're pretty out of line to suggest that with no evidence whatsoever and even if it was elective surgery to fix something a lot quicker than no surgerical rehab I don't think it's fair to criticise him for that. Surgeons don't operate on nonexistent injuries.

Ive said this in numerous threads already. But ill say it here again in case you missed it. Im not saying lomachenko wasnt injured prior to leaving the ring after the bout was over, im saying he was injured during the fight. Now i just watched the 2nd round the round he said the injury had happened, i saw a couple of punches from fimo that landed to the chest area, which could have nagged it a lil. But what is confusing to me is if you have any kind of shoulder injury to your right shoulder how are you able to hold that right arm up so high and block incoming punched without even a grimace of pain or discomfort? And then to fight the way he did for rounds 7-11? Thats what im questioning here. If there was a pre existing injury he should have pulled out. He cost casinos money and made alot of people unhappy by withholding this info from the media. Fimo worked his ass off and all credit should be given. Loma is the only one to blame here. So i hope once he heals they do it again, but Fimo is the A side this time around.

You're downplaying the likelihood of injury because you seem invested in protecting Lopez's win more than you should be. It's a great win, leave it be man.

obviously loma got surgery.. I just hope they do it again, and this time no excuses. If loma comes to fight hes going to get knocked out.

Well I would have preferred it if he had just lost as we don't know how he'll come back from the surgery. Anyway a rematch puts it to bed forever as we'll know this version of Lomachenko couldn't beat this version of Lopez which may well not be the best version of Lopez we see.

Inactivity is as problematic as over activity for injuries, you need a balance.

It was the same surgeon Dr Neil Attrache (Spelling) that operated on Pacquaio that operated on Loma. Once again you Floydette clowns stuck your big feet in your mouths

if Lopez is as good as he thinks he is and as tough as he thinks he is, he wouldn't be a coward about a rematch.
    Even Lopez has his fears

to be perfectly honest, i wouldnt give him one. ONLY, because he came out with the shouldergate again. i dont care if its legit. or, hes gonna get paid paid whatever my alternate opponent would have gotten paid. all the extra that your contract says you would get paid for the fight gets signed over to me.
so you better hope hes a better man than i am.

True, that's why it's so shocking that with over a year out of the ring he would come into the match with an injury. Especially when it's the same injury that he had 2 and a half years ago when he fought Linares, which he already had surgery on to correct.
