Why are fighters only havin 2 fights a year 3 at most? They fight when they gettin low on money?? Someone explain cut I don't get it..
They probably want some time off in between. Training camp is pretty tough, sometimes you're away from family/friends etc.., it's mentally and physically draining to keep training, training, training. So usually after a fight most fighters would have a break, and then a fight would have to be made (money has to be right, opponent has to be right, venue, weight etc...) before starting another training camp.
You think two or three fights a year is bad? Try and do what Daniel Santos is doing. He has one fight per year the past four years and they're not exactly huge money makers either. The guy has probably fallen off the face of the earth.
