I hope Rigo becomes one of the greatest fighter to come out of this generation. **** your bandwagon. Im setting up a Rigondough fan club starting today! Rigonfacials unite!!! Cuban baboon, Rigondough, and other cuban nuthuggers, you got one more member in me. I hope Zhou goes up and win fights too, maybe I can be a communist too one day..
His facebook page went from like 1200 to 8000 overnight, mind you a fair amount of the likes he gained overnight for his page were Donaire fans calling him a track runner, so might have to skim a little off the top haha
So what ? :blood I didn't know you had the monopoly of being a Rigotard. :hat People start following fighters when they win big fights, nothing new or curious about that.
I have been a fan of Rigondeaux since I first saw him years ago. I was one of the people calling him "one of the most talented men in boxing history". I stand by that statement today.
****, i been reppin for Rigo for a couple years now.... and to a few other posters credit, there were others picking him to win, no just the Cubans.. btw, i don't remember Forza going out on a limb and predicting a W for Rigo like me and others...
I don't think anyone considered him a hype job when he only had 11 professional fights, how can anyone fully judge based on that? That said, you're just being an emotional idiot. It's very normal and refreshing to see boxing fans on a boxing site fully support and appreciate an overlooked fighter when he proves his self.
That's what happens when a fighter takes on the best available opposition: he gains a lot of fans. Floyd will never gain a lot of fans, because he only fights guys he knows he can beat. If he had fought Paul Williams and Antonio Margarito when they were champions in his own weight class, he would have a lot more fans than haters.
It was a masterful performance, one not a lot expected vs. one of the best fighters today. WHy wouldn't that attract more fans, is a better question.
Just b/c we/they don't make 50 threads a day (ex *******s and *****s) that doesn't mean that people are bandwagon jumpers when they decide to comment.
