Anthony Joshua will fail as bad as Audley Harrison, if he does not improve drastically. The warning should be the fact that he shouldnt have been anywhere near that gold medal. Hopefully he can rapidly improve and do something in the pro ranks. But I suspect 30 fights against nobodies, KO'ing all of them in the 1st round. Milking the £ of these nothing fights, before they even think about titles. By that time the Klitschko's will be sat in rocking chairs wearing cardigans. Thats Joshua's only chance of success, if he doesnt improve. Audley Harrison is coming back soon and even he will be in with a shout when they retire.

To further prove my point about the corruption in the Olympics, after CLEARLY losing to Savon and looking as bad as Andrew Flintoff in the process, Cammarelle was furious in the final, they thought they won the "fight", so much so, rumor was that they was appealing the decision.........but it all went quiet.

All the gear, no idea. For him to compete with the big boys, he will seriously have to improve. He was beat by Savon and Cammarelle, average amateurs. He was given a gift in the Olympics, he wont be getting them in the pro ranks.

 

The number 1 Super Heavyweight from Cuba and the Olympic Gold Medalist from 2008 are average? Even if he was beaten by them, to have even qualified for the Olympics after 2 years not just actively fighting, but putting on a pair of gloves is a phenomenal.

Joshua is a long term project. I don't think he is going to be World Champion in 3 years, I don't even think he should be British champ in 3 years.

But there is clearly talent and he is marketable. and thats why every single Promoter in the world is trying to sign him......but i guess you know more about boxing thank Bob Arum, Frank W*rren, Eddie Hearn, Richard schaefer etc etc.

As for Savon and Cammarellelelelelele, they are top AMATEURS and Cammarelle aint never fought pro. Savon is younger so we'll give him time. But by how rated (....overrated) Joshua was going into that, you would have expected him to breeze the whole thing. But he didnt.

Savon and Cammarelle were robbed, pure and simple.

Anyone would think Ian John Lewis was all three judges. :huh
