Well, a lot of people give PBF no credit for his win over oscar, saying oscar was old/shot/fat whatever.

but if oscar could basically kill a prime mayorga without any trouble..........then i guess oscar wasnt shot after all when he fought a PBF!

And if pbf was able to beat that version of oscar at a weight that floyd had never fought before (and was too heavy for him).......what does that say about him???

    ANSWER: thats greatness baby:D :hi:

Don't look for the haters to give him an ounce of respect. What PBF did to Oscar at a weightclass he never fought at was truely amazing.

I wouldn't say he is prime anything. Remember too that Trinidad beat the **** out of him only to get completely dominated by Wright just one fight after.

And also remember we are talking about 2007 Vargas here. Yes, the same Vargas who was KO'd on one Mosely punch that Cotto took all night long.

And if Oscar was prime, then PBF was prime despite struggling with him. And if PBF is prime, then Hatton on the 9th December will wake up (hung over, no doubt) knowing that he has just beaten the number 1 p4p in his prime.

Oscar was past his best against PBF, but still in formidable shape and not shot. Things aren't white or black.

Mayweather struggled with DLH. He beat a still good DLH though.

Are you guys forgetting that Mayorga fought Vargas last night? Fernando just confirmed how glass jawed he really is when he got caught at the end of round 11. Vargas spent last year or so over 200 pounds. Did you honestly believe that was a prime vargas in that ring? There is no comparison, in saying that this means PBF fought a prime DLH. DLH is old and way past his youthful best, he sure as hell aint shot but he isnt what he used to be eitha.

that is ****ing ******ed. ODH in his prime was a one handed fighter with a worse defense and NO right hand. He was left hook dependent and threw it 3 and 4 times. Floyd eliminated that same left hook all fight. STFU. You are some dumb ass clowns:lol:

good post..fact is nobody wants to give PBF credit but DLH could still beat 7 or 8 of the top 10 welters out

Oh please. Now that Mayorga beat a completely shot Vargas he is a prime fighting machine again? You guys are pathetic. You are now using Mayorga to strengthen the PBF win over Oscar?

PBF beat a past prime and inactive Oscar, and you cannot argue to the contrary.

PBF also beat a game Oscar, who was definently not shot, at a weight class above the hightest he (PBF) should be fighting. For that he deserves credit.

But do we really need to use Mayorga and Vargas as a measuring stick?

Yeah, they act like ODH took Gatti type punishment in his career. He was only stopped at Middleweight by a phantom body shot. LOL Before that he was competitive

Why are Floyd fans so sensitive.

Why not just argue your point without all the pre-menstral type sentiment.

Here, I will write your post for you:

This is a ridiculous arguement. DLH in his prime was a one handed fighter with worse defense and no right hand. He was left hook dependent and threw it 3 or 4 times, and Floyd was able to nuetralize that same left hook.
