I don't really think that Khan has anything to gain by fighting Morales... Hatton or Malignaggi I reckon
I think Erik had just turned 16 when he turned pro, MAB turned pro just before his 16th birthday I think but it could be true about the school thing, Morales dad didnt want him to box like he did & set him up with difficult fighters very early doors to discourage him but in typical Morales fashion, he kicked their boz & his dad realised that his son was serious about the game & would likely do better than he himself did - he was right. (you probably know that story tho :good)
ye it is funny about both of barreras and morales beginnings morales against tough opposition to be discouraged and barrera who lost his 2 last amatuer fights turned pro against good opposition just to see what pro was like none of them were supposed to accomplish anything lol
Why don't Roach put Khan in there with his baby boy? he can be carried from corner to corner & alternate between fighter's w/advice.... (or they can set-up a voice box) Pac vs. Khan @ 140lbs. Winner get's to sit on papa's lap. :!:
Barrera who was better then Morales couldnt beat Khan thats coming in with 2 tuneup fights. Morales has lost his last 4 fights and hasnt even fought in 2 years while just packing on pound after pound but hes supposed to have a chance ? Morales thinks just resting and eating is going to somehow unshot him like bring his prime back. Doesnt work hes done 04-05 killed him IMO. He fought tough fights vs Chavez in Feb,Hernendaz in July,Barrera in November and Pacquiao in March all wars took alot out of him not to mention 2 month training camps and cutting ALOT of weight. Taking a couple extra beatings after that didnt help any.
what i find very hypocritical is them sayin theres nothing to gain fighting a shot barrera but somehow theres something to gain fighting a even more shot fighter in morales
