Gavin has fought noone. Solomon has eliminated several American prospects as well as schooling a veteran.

    No comparison.

I forgot the guy in my avatar. He is far superior to any current prospect in Britain. I'd take him over DeGale and Groves in a heartbeat.

Shows the difference in levels between Groves and Degale in comparison to Ward and Dirrell. Ward and Dirrell were world class at 24. These 2 guys need about 3 more years to approach that level.

People saying degale was good enough for that level are nuts. The only guy I saw saying that was a yank though.

It was a good all British grudge match. They've got a nice rivalry going on. Hopefully they can at least get to the world stage at some point in their careers if not get a belt. It's all good.

And yet all three are poor fighters. Oganov was beaten by 5-1 Garth Wood, who is a terrible fighter. Hanshaw isn't any good and Stevens is the definition of a hypejob.

No, he wouldn't. I like Froch far more than DeGale but the idea that Froch would knock him out in 4 is laughable.

By that argument, Benitez is clearly the best fighter of all time. He was world champion at 17. Sugar Ray Robinson and Henry Armstrong were both world champion at 25.

    Top three all-time:

    1. Wilfred Benitez
    2. Sugar Ray Robinson
    3. Henry Armstrong

Age is nowhere near as important as pro experience.

Is Frankie Gavin the guy who just nearly lost to midfielder Curtis Woodhouse?
