If this is true, it's pretty dumb of Cotto because if Canelo gets sparked by Kirkland, and Mayweather and Pacquiao fight, then Cotto is completely out of mega-fights unless he grows a pair and fights GGG.

You rather pay $65 to watch Mayweather-Maidana III or Pacquiao-Algieri II or any of the C and B level fighters these guys love feating on?

Cotto has options. Many options. Needs not either Canelo nor GGG. Those guys need him and they know it.

 

The only Mega-fights for the aging Cotto are Mayweather, Canelo or GGG.

Cotto can make some decent change fighting any of the top contenders or either peter Quillin or Andy lee. Maybe not as much as fighting either Mayweather or Canelo, however Cotto has shown that he can career a whole card by himself. By the way GGG is not a mega fight. No one know who the fock he is. All of those guys will love the chance to fight Cotto. If not for Roach also training Cotto along with Pac I will also put pac among potential opponents for Cotto.

 

Get outta here trying to hype that junk. The man is not ready, and won't be ready cause it was played like that. He don't even have a dam trainer. If he had of been training with Anne Wolfe all along and was in prime shape, then I would look forward to it and still it's being held in Texas where Canelo and Oscar has total influence over the outcome of Canelo's fights. They can't pull the wool over my eyes cause I know BS when I see it. There is no way in hell Canelo is gonna fight a primed, in shape and Anne Wolfe trained Kirkland. I'll pay my money to watch Mayweather but I refuse to watch BS even for free.
