    Yea. It's called the unofficial weight because they hydrate up for the most part thats why.


    Sometimes they are weighed with clothing on as well. It's the HBOs unofficial scale.

    All fight night weights are unofficial. It's done by HBO, not any sort of boxing authority.

    It's not "unofficial weight" because it's speculation or anything, the fighters literally get on a scale provided by HBO to see how much they weigh the day of the fight. It was shown on the tale of the tape before the fight started.
