Undefeated fighters come and go in boxing and Wolak was the quintessential example of an unbeaten fighter who had been feasting on C level fighters for his entire career. And when Wolak finally stepped up in class against a B level fighter in Smith, he couldn't turn it up a notch to pull off the win. I had seen him on a few undercards in New Jersey. He won pretty convincingly in his fights, but nothing about him was impressive.
I think you have to be highly rated in order to fall into the overrated catagory after a loss. I knew a good Boxer was going to habd him his first L i didnt think SMith would be the one to do it. Despite being outclassed he showed grit and heart and was never broken mentally. He will be a hard fight for most guys simply on his agression toughness and chin. He is going to move down to 147 and get with a new trainer(great idea as they didnt help him at all between rounds)
Ishe Smith was groomed for big things and had a good amateur pedigree before the contender. He also has more experience and a better resume than Wolak. It shouldn't be that much of a shocker that he beat him.
Maybe yes . . . I picked Wolak by UD thinking that he gonna offer a good resistance against Smith . . . but damn it came out one sided.
im glad he lost he stoped a friend of mine burt i knew he wasnt goning to make ne noise a against ne real fighters
