So much with Bute - Super Six comparison

Johnson knew Froch had beaten him but argued that he beat Bute. We fans may disagree with that but there was obviously something about both fights which lead to Johnson thinking he had more success against Bute.

As for Magee, Froch beat a good version. Bute didn't.

 

At this point It's a match between Bute , Froch , Ward and Kessler for supremacy in the SMW division.

froch has not the biggest talent, but he is the real deal, perfect package.
biggest heart, very good power, best chin, best stamina and got in his last fight the best ring iq, and he is incredible akward

 

You're basing that purely on the fact that Magee was younger than when he fought Bute. What Magee fights did you watch prior to Froch and what Magee fights did you watch prior Bute. I'm guessing, none.

Kessler is through and will go back to fighting only in Denmark or Germany. Right now, he's wishing he'd never left Denmark. :yep

Bute-Magee was ashout out before the stoppage Froch-Magee was really close and Magee was touching at will with his left hand

 

Froch is tough fighter, fun to watch, and I very much look forward to seeing him fight Kelly Pavlik, but he's also very beatable by the top fighters. Dirrell looked like he could've won their fight if pressed just a little more, and against Kessler, Mikkel looked very in control and would've had a clear decision had he not had problem pulling the trigger. Through out their fight, Kessler had himself in great position to nail Froch, he just couldn't let his hands go. Turned out the eye injury threw off his depth perception which makes sense. Bute and Ward should win clear decisions over Froch. The real fight to watch is Bute-Ward, with maybe Kessler-Dirrell on the undercard.

 

I agree that Froch is the real deal.
I admit to not being warmed up to him watching him carry his hands at his waist, but I have grown to like Froch because he will fight anyone.
We never hear these Bute-like excuses of why fights don't happen with Froch. His team make fights happen, no excuses.

That being said, Ward is the real deal also.
Based on Froch's performance against Dirrell, I see Ward hurting and beating Froch by a clear decision to win the S6 final.

I have Bute one level down from Froch and Ward in skill, ambition, and drive. Both will beat Bute when they meet.

 

well i ate a lot of crow this weekend, but it was a good weekend of fights

Burns - Katsidis / Burns controlled the fight with the jab and used his size advantage and defence

Kirkland - Angulo / Angulo could have won but he punched himself out, big mistake

Groves - Smith / I expected Smith to trouble Groves more than he did but he did a number and got him out quickly

Bute - Johnson / The only fight i predicted right with a Bute UD but i didnt expect Bute to dominate Johnson completely

Just goes to show anything can and will happen in boxing
