Tua used to be the MAN! I remember watching him as a young boxer and thinking he had a shot to be the next tyson, man did that not go well!

David Tua is the single most overrated hype job, ever.

His best showing was losing to Ike Ibeabuchi.

Yep, Holyfield's plan to become the undisputed HW champion again is to outlast the Klitschkos, then he'll pick the belts when they retire :!:

I think you are mistaking being simple and lazy for being a hype job. I think he has left his career management up to GOD and it's not really working for him.

Tua has as good a chance of most of the other current heavyweights at taking one of the titles, we are talking about someone thats never been down or even closing to tasting the canvas...sure its a punchers chance but a chance none the less.

Re losing to Ike Ibeabuchi, it was a heavyweight slugfest that set the record for the number of punches thrown!

If Tuaman was fighting at any other Wt. class besides HW I'd say "Close-up Shop Mang!"
But because he has that punching power it always gives him a shot in the dark...

That said, Why the funk has it taken him so long to take his career seriously?
