So nobody cares about Sadam Ali ?!

    Out of all the fights going on in the past 2 weeks this fight was the one that really should have been avoided. I know that Ali was not looking to fight Charlo or Hurd but he really didn't cherry pick like he should have. He should have called out some welters to fight at 154, instead he got, got.

    I'm not sure who does the match making at GBP nowadays but they totally ****ed Sadam by having him fight a SMW last night. I know everyone is stuck on Loma getting knocked down but Ali got dropped for 4 rounds and kept getting up for more.

    GBP cashed Ali out, Welterweight vs Middleweight. Munguia has fought at 155 many times because shedding that one extra pound was extremely difficult for the clubbing oaf.

    I admit I had Ali by Dec, I knew the size difference was big but wow that was absolutely massive. Ali needs to get down to Welterweight ASAP and Munguia will be missing weight at 154 sooner than later

    Yep, terrible size mismatch! Ali tried, But Manguia was not phased by anything Ali was throwing at him. You could see in Ali's eyes, he was thinking WTF within the first minute of the first round. When fighting someone with a size advantage and decent skill, all a big heart and a bad corner will get you is either dead or brain damaged.

    Munguia is the man GBP wants to hype up. Great opportunity for the company to showcase their prospect of the year.

    I actually think Roberto Diaz of GBP is one of the better matchmakers in the game today.

    Maybe, but he has built a solid name and should have been guided better after his big Cotto win.
    All he needed was a few cherry picks maybe 3 and then he could have built his name enough to at least be a high level journeyman like what has become of Adrien Broner, Andre Berto, Victor Ortiz and guys like that.

    He will not have a financially stable career like John Molina, Dereck Chisora, Glen Johnson, Lucien Bute or even Sakio Bika. These guys are not the greatest fighters in the world but their name is gold in the business and they make a awesome living if you pay attention to how often they fight and how much they command. (Besides Bika, where is Bika?)

    Loma fought a naturally much bigger guy too. If you’re not going to play the weight shedding game you’d better bring the skills. GBP and Andre Rozier have no problems with Ali getting his head bashed in.

    154 is the weight bully division. Ali should go down to welterweight. Maybe wait for the winner of Broner vs Vargas 2 and get the winner or loser.

    Sadam Ali is one of the weakest world champs ever, it was no surprise at all to me, he was always gonna lost that belt quickly.
