So now, after the B-Hop V. Pavilk fight, who would win Pavlik V. Calzaghe?

    Vote...

For me, Calzaghe takes this one by UD or KO.

Calzaghe wins because his work rate would be way too much for Pavlik.

I thought Calzaghe would outbox Pavlik before last night's fight. I'm now convinced that he would. Styles do make fights, but so does class, Calzaghe is obviously in a different class.

Calzaghe is both better and has the perfect style to defeat Pavlik. So i don't think Pavlik really stands a chance.

I always said Calzaghe would win via schooling.

Now that cannot be denied by anyone.

I have always said this ever since Pavlik and his team started their Margarito version of "Planet earth is ducking me" campaign invented by Bob Arum that Calzaghe would slice this man to pieces and even TKO him.

Am I missing something? Did Calzaghe fight Pavlik last night? Calzaghe wins a SD over Hopkins and Hopkins beats Pavlik so now Pavlik definately loses to Calzaghe? In case you guys forgot, Hopkins lost twice to Taylor and Pavlik knocked Taylor out. Calzaghe beats Pavlik, but it would be different fight than what happened on Saturday. Calzaghe fans need to stop using Hopkins in order to boost their guy. Calzaghe looked sloppy and amateurish against Hopkins. Luckily for him, the judges were more impressed by activity rather than clean punching, ring generalship, and defense.

Agreed. Calzaghe would be landing so many punches it probably would be stopped

Forget Pavlik-Hopkins or even Hopkins-Calzaghe if you like. Calzaghe would still start favourite and my pick in a Pavlik fight anytime the fight was fought.

What??? clean punching does not neccessarily mean hard punching. Hopkins looked awful against Calzaghe. A knockdown does not win a fight. I keep watching the fight, trying to see it from a hopkins point of view but still can only give him 3 maybe 4 rounds. Calzaghe's ring generalship was spot on on the night and his DEFENCE was good as always. Hopkins' DEFENCE was nowhere near as good as it could have been and failed to take a forward step after round 1. Good showing by the old man against pavlik though.

Abraham is still The Fight... and now it's the only legitimate fight as Kelly was beaten badly north of 160. At MW he still has his titles and now has to prove he deserves them... KTFU Rubio then fight Abraham... then we can talk about superfights.

Exact same answer as I gave before Hop/Pavlik.... Calzaghe by wide UD or TKO.
