Hype/Hate threads are actually 50/50, but the haters donthave 20/20 vision regarding Khan so may see more Khan hype threads.

No way. totally wrong. People that were hating him still do.
People that were loving him still do.

Nothing's really changed after that fight.

Im not sure ive seen anyone refer to him as 'great' - whatever that means. He has amazing potential and some are excited about that. His hand speed is phenomenal and his chin isnt as weak as some would have you believe.

Some begrudge him the exposure he has got, meh..he is drawing alot of attention to the sport which is surely a good thing and if he keeps winning then he deserves it.

Khan has dominated every fight he has fought. What about Prescott? youll ask

He never fought Prescott, he got caught in the first....they didnt box each other.
Thats not to belittle Prescott's win, it was fair and square, but that hook caught him so flush, and he moved into it, and he got up too quickly - any fighter can get tagged doesnt mean anything, would people say Rahman was a better fighter than Lewis?

I think Khan has a lot to prove, he has potential to become a superstar but its a big question whether he can fufill that potential.

If anyone on here still doesn't recognize Khan as the THE greatest fighter that has EVER walked the planet, they need to leave and go and download some porn to take to school.

Haters will continue to hate. Even if he done some great things in the ring. They always "hope" Khan gets knocked out again, they are disappointed by him winning again that they start ridiculous threads about him to bring more haters and posters that would laugh about him, threads like "Khan is lb for lb" or "Khan is the greatest", "Khan vs Duran" he gets hate over the top around here, not so hard to see why but he has courage to do what he has done after his loss.

The thing is half the Khan haters will probably be massive fans of 27 fight John Murray, whose last oppenent was beaten by Khan in his 14th fight!

Khan has been ko'd and floored. Yes we all know his weaknesses, and he can act like a bit of a bit. But he has tried to address his flaws and is fighting a decent level of oppenent. Many believe Witter lost to Kotelnik and in his last fight he beat Maidana who is no mug. I think folk either need to cut Khan some slack or at least try and show a more balanced view.

Exactly. Khan is good, not fully there yet. He needs to defend his belt against good opposition and yes I feel his chin is better at 140 but not tested.

I like Khan. He's got potentials. A few more fights against very good opposition, and winning, should put him up there. Roach will get him there. Is Khan the greatest? No, not in my book.

so now he has to brutally ko everyone to prove himself?

the more active fighter generally wins if a fight goes distance. he won, and won well!

nah. this is almost as bad as one of farmboxers delusional posts where he thinks *everyone* was backing this or that wlad opponent.

i haven't read anyone saying khan is great. the vocal few who have gone over the top are not representative of esb posters :good

He's a hyped up joke. And if he fights any sort of decent fighter that is a puncher he will be found out yet again.
