So now Pac's a Bum???

****.. He's still easily the best fighter in the world. he just faced the best combination puncher of this era. Marquez is a great fighter who knows Pac better than anybody else. No matter how you scored the fight it was a great tactical matchup between two great fighters. Remember, that was JMM in that ring with Pac and NO ONE ELSE. We knew JMM had his number, I just didn't think he would carry his weight as well as he did. But I am more than happy he did. Now bring on the 4th fight, or JMM vs Khan or Bradley..

 

Easily the best fighter in the world easily better than Mayweather, Ward, and Martinez? You are entitled to your opinion but he's not easily the best.

Best combination puncher of this era? Two weeks ago Marquez was to old and bout to get knock out now he's the best combintion puncher of this era?

I'd like to see those fights but I think Khan and especially Bradley beat Marquez.

 

I think people have been saying hold off on all the ATG talk and the JMM fight kind of proved that. Basically, it's a proportional reaction to all the stupid ******* propaganda.

 

I think Pac brings more than his boxing... I live in a heavy pro UFC city =Huntington Beach

But when Pac fights even on this fight he was the main event.. place was kind of empty for the Cain v Dos Santos fight but was PACKED when Pac starting fighting.. I was in awe how Pac just brings the crowd and the love from casuals.. I say its a great thing for boxing

 

Manny is great. JMM is great. Floyd is Great. Its too bad that not too many people seem to agree with this.

 

WHy should many people agree with it. What is wrong with saying Manny is very good but not great?

 

The usual array of idiots on esb have the attention span of a gnat. NEVER have I seenm so many posters who pride themselves on being 'knowlegdable" about the sport sayt such assinine ****. It's crazy! atsch

 

Pac is far from a bum, but that's the ESB way. You called it though. A lot of Pac's fans have disowned him or disappeared due to his performance. A lot of Floyd fans are giving Pac fans **** due to his performance. Fans are wishy washy like that. He's a great fighter, but he's also been carefully matched since the Oscar win IMO. This time I believe they felt JMM was too old to compete at this new weight, and were sadly mistaken.

 

Like I said in another thread pac is still an ATG hands down one of the best fighters I;ve ever seen, he's just not technically sound and makes mistakes and lacks the boxing IQ to adjust mid-fight.

He's a HOF no doubt.

And most people that are called *****s are people who have a good amount of boxing knowledge and used it to explain why they felt Floyd would beat or KO pac if they ever fought. Unlike most (not all) Pac fans who say **** like "Pac knocks floyd out cuz he's a *****" I myself have been called one simply for stating the advantages that Floyd has over Pac and the reasons why I felt he was a superior boxer. after that I was called a pac hater and ***** or joyboy This kinda of behavior has been going down on esb since I would just look @ threads in 08 with cotto and possible before that. Floyd fans get angry because we rarely get to discuss the nuances of boxing and styles without **** like 'void is void" etc. In response some started their own ******* vendetta with "Take the Test" etc I see whats happening now as payback for that kinda ****. Just like how some pac fans ripped floyd for his supposed sucker punch against ortiz.

 

Manny is a living legend, nothing changes that. Floyd, Sergio, whoever will never get close to him.

In saying that, Juan beat him. One fight does not make a legacy, though.

 

He's been brilliant for the sport,especially during Floyd's long absences.I'll never agree he beat Marquez,but to suggest he is a bum is totally ludicrous.

 

i just find it funny how pac fans came from being the biggest most racist **** talkers on the net then after the marquez fight they shut the ****. now theyre praying manny doesnt fight floyd and already have their excuses lined up. its karma for the **** they talked
