I heard on a boxing podcast (boxing voice) that Porter is actually not signed to Golden Boy and is a promotional free agent. In addition, there's rumblings that he wants a fight with Pacquiao. That would be interesting.

Hes young, strong, throws down, he could be the future. once u start beating good guys then thats how u get hype.

 

I could see that he was something special versus Alexander, hence why I picked him to knock Paulie out. He's explosive and throws some unpredictable punches, he's also humble and focused on being the best he can be so he'll go far. He's no Broner or Berto.

 

I don't know about special but he's a deserving world champion,i think. A lot of people have been underrating Alexander. Amir turned him down and for whatever reason Kell didn't fight him,he was a good fighter. I can't think of a single reason he wouldn't defend against Kell. He can have this in his backyard if he wants. If the fight doesn't happen,it won't be his fault. Having said that,somebody will take his title. Ill give him maybe 18 months or so.
