Fury has said that he is retired, and I think we all know that the man is a man of his word. He literally never, ever lies, embellishes, exaggerates, obfuscates, prevaricates, deceives, or even tells stories. Nor is he a man to change is his mind. He has said that he is retired...so it is written, so it shall come to pass. Therefore, the question is, who will the WBC put together for the vacant belt? Will it be Wilder and Whyte? Will they allow the winner of the Usyk-Joshua rematch to be in one corner? Could we see Joe Parker in their, who I believe is highly rated by the WBC? What do ya'll think?
Interim Champ: Whyte just got KO'd #1. Wilder: Coming off unsuccessful challenge This content is protected #4. Frank Sanchez no fight booked #5. Andy Ruiz Jr fighting #7 Luis Ortiz
Based off that, it will probably be Wilder vs. winner of Joyce-Parker for the vacant belt, which is really not a bad fight at all. Apart from the fact that it would be absurd that Wilder would get to fight for a vacant belt he just lost lol
Oh come on! Please, now that Fury is retired, normal programming can resume. I am sure Mauricio Jr. has Wilder v David Price or Christian Hammer lined up already.
I know that WBC Champion Tyson Fury is truthful, but maybe he does face the winner of Joshua vs Usyk rematch, then officially retires. But if Fury is retired, then the vacant title really should go to the winner of Usyk vs Joshua.
How many fights was Fury's Top Rank deal for that he signed a few years ago? I suspect there's more going on, especially with MTK going out of business.
He won't be able to evade facing the Usyk-Bodybuilder winner, especially if the useless latter somehow manages to overcome the Ukrainian genius. Too big of an event money- and legacy-wise.
