So now that it has been confirmed that Margarito used .. Plaster

I said this earlier Williams stock has risen since he went 12 with Margo and won despite dealing with loaded gloves. Clottey has underrated toughness as well.

 

as a cotto fan i dont think he used the loaded gloves until the cotto fight. margarito is a good fighter, he just isnt as elite as cotto. the reason why williams and clottey went toe to toe with him is because they arent as elite either. YEA! I SAID IT!! cotto was margaritos toughest fight, which is why he needed to load the gloves up. the williams and clottey fights were not his toughest. williams is over rated (u will find out in a couple weeks) and clottey is VERY tough but just not as elite as cotto (u will find that out this summer)

 

How did Margo get by having "loaded" gloves in the Cotto fight?

 

I don't understand why you are laughing at Cotto, you try getting hit in the fact with some rock hard plaster going at 20 mph with 11 stone behind it for 11 rounds.
And how do we know he has the plaster against Williams and Clottley or even Cotto for that matter. People don't give Mosley credit for beating Margarito even though he has granite fists.

 

Cmon...Give it up already....Cotto is the most overrated fighter out there..
Just look at it as a neutral boxing fan....Williams and Clottey both are tougher than hell...
Its cotto who is not on Williams or Clotteys radar for that matter....
All cotto has done is win vacant belts....You cant deny the facts.:deal

 

cotto destroyed quintana in 5 rounds. the same quintana that beat williams :deal. there are some facts for you. williams is very over rated and that is why winky will win next weekend. clottey, i am actually a fan of, i just feel cotto is a step better than him. and no doubt it will be a tough fight, cotto will still win

cotto got a bit of a shaky chin, but not really a bad chin. I think he's chin is somewhat like marquez. If pac wears plaster of paris also he would have knock marquez out cold in the 1st round of their 1st fight.

 

So I guess everyone that lasted the distance with Margarito is indestructible now....

 

Oh...You mean the same Williams that eliminated Quintana with a brutal K.O and made him look silly in the rematch...Obvious off night for Williams in the first one:deal....It happens in boxing....But Quintana is no where near William's caliber of fighter....Lets just drop that one really quick.

 

what are you talking about? a lot of people are giving mosley a huge credit for beating margo including myself. He was an underdog and the old man at that time, yet he beat the still young prime cheating chump:good

 

..of course this denies that there is ZERO proof he used loaded gloves ever. He didn't use them against Mosley (because they got caught).

Again, I honestly don't think the pads in question would have provided much of an advantage. Even Mosley alluded to that fact.

His hands were watched being wrapped by officials in ever fight, the only time this came up was against Mosley.

Either nobody noticed, or more than likely he didn't use them.
