    Where is the "threat"?, idle or otherwise, it just sounds like a statement of fact to me....theres no petulance in the comment. I don't know whether you are bald or fat or racist, but taking umbrage at an article like this is pretty hysterical...in a girly way rather than the funny sense

    It just reeks of desperation a bit mate, why come out of that he could have talked about his training camp,future fights or even assessment of his opponent but instead a comes out with that!8

    The editing of the article is down completely to the ESPN staffer who wrote it....the piece highlighted might only be 1% of what was actually said with the 99% omitted being the part about training camps, future fights etc. Khan will only respond to the questions that he's asked as he won't set the agenda or have editorial control

    It's rubbish he has been saying it's been sold out for months. Why would someone who paid £60 to see Brook then go pay £220 to see Amir for the exact same seat? The ticket prices were the same as Froch V Kessler :lol:

    once wilder vs audley was announced, I contemplated going to this but baulked at the ridiculously high prices that were set.

    poor opponent, high prices, coming off unexciting wins. it's not like he sells loads of tickets in the US. If he goes back and loses again in 'murca then where's he gonna be?

    I don't quite understand the relevance of that article and your point. It could very well be one of his last, that's not a sales pitch.
