Froch needs to be, he's been fairly well behaved of late compared to some of the more underhand tactics he used to employ. He needs to dig deep back into that dirty box of tricks because Ward will no doubt be using his third middle fist.

Still, I think it's a pretty clear points win for Ward either way, sadly.

Froch has showned his class at world level in his last 5-6 fights, however Ward will be too slick and will win a UD.

Wards a mere nobody compared to Wladimir Kilstchko, Ward is weak as a individual. Carl Froch vs Andre Ward will be a small fight in terms of media attention and money. David Haye single handily brought some excitement back in boxing, with his ability to fight. And his "Balls" in my opinion to be the bad guy at times, to sell fights and bump up media/public attention.

"Knowing full well, that he was setting himself up for a fall"

Froch is the man when it comes to British boxing on the world stage and has been for at least 2 years now.... Its good that he's getting the platform he rightly deserves now.
It would be the icing on the cake if he wins the super six.

I like Froch but lets be real, he's far from been a legend. He still going on about the same excuse for the Kessler fight and is still calling Calzaghe out!

This fight is ganna be interesting early on. I think Froch needs to impose himself as quickly as possible and make Ward adjust. Ward sometimes takes a couple of rounds to have a look and process the information. Froch is an interesting case because he's so deceptive. The guy has a habit of off-setting fighters who are more gifted. He has a lot of moxie and is more than the sum of his parts.

It'll be tough for him though. Ward has all the tools to make this onesided and he can beat Carl in so many ways. He's ganna rip Carl with bodyshots, especially the jab to the solar plexus and counter him like crazy.

Carl's best bet is to make it a dog fight and try and catch Ward with punches that come from underneath. Ward is so polished, he turns/opens his gloves, spins and doesn't get caught with any of that over the top stuff.

Boys, Just look at what I said about the Haye fight, Ward will win on points.

Carl a decent world level operator, but against the very top....he will fall short.

Ward wins via 12UD over C. Froch

C'mon man, if that was Haye/Khan you'd be slagging him off.

I think Khan deserves just as much respect as Froch, they've both said silly things, Froch mostly in the past, Khan with his Tweets recently.

But both have very respected wins in the rings and are flying the flag for Britain proudly. Just because one has had more coverage they shouldn't be hated on.

The same with Haye too; unified Cruiserweight champion and then to move up to a limitless weight and become a world champion isn't easy, although due to some of his antics (which can be seen as taking it a bit too far maybe) he probably does deserve a bit of criticism... But you can't deny he has achieved a lot and deserves just as much respect.

Listen if you think Froch was serious when he mentioned Calzaghe on ringside a few weeks back, then more fool you. The last time he seriously called Joe out was the post fight interview after the Taylor fight. Once he signed up for the super six that summer he knew he was tied up with that for a few years and never mentioned Joe after that.
