So Pacquiao is going to use "Marquez 4" as the "next" excuse. Arum cashing out!

This isn't "outside" the ring. Floyd produces more revenue in "per fight" by far.

Floyd holds revenue breaking numbers with De La Hoya, than Ortiz (never been on a ppv:deal main event), and Mosley.

Floyd will break the purse record WITHOUT Pacquiao..Pacquiao can't break the "purse" record without Floyd.

With or without Pacquiao, Floyd is going to make more than $52 million in this fight which is the purse record.:deal

If Floyd accepted 50/50 or even he would make less money than he is making for the Cotto fight.:deal

I respect your opinion..I just don't think it's correct as far as the business side of this argument goes.

Manny turned down a 40 million dollar guarantee to make a 7.5 million guarantee plus PPV profits (end up with 18-20 million) with bradley.

Manny turned down the #1 lb 4 lb fighter as rated by ESPN, Writers poll, and Sports Illustrated, to take on the #10 lb 4 lb in the world.

Manny was just beat by the #5 lb 4 lb in the world but Arum made sure he didn't "lose" even though he "lost."

If Pac agreed in the beginning like his team claimed they would, they would have fought. Like you said, now that they've agreed everyone against the testing is silent. Floyd also wouldn't have any room for his no 50/50 demand if Pac hadn't said he'd take a lesser share. Team Pac puts their foot in their mouth, Team Floyd calls them out on it. Pac fans then backtrack and ignore statements made by the ones they're defending.

$80M or more is an estimate. fight sells 2.5MPPV @ an estimate of $69 per buy then you had $172.5M of gross from PPV alone. it's typical that HBO or showtime gets half of it but for a big fight like this, their share might be cut down to let's ay 40% or even 35%. which would mean $103M (@ 40% cut from cable operator) left for each fighters and would translate to $63M for floyd already if pac gets a fixed $40M.

now add the live gate which could be $20M for a full gate at MGM grand or much more for a temporary stadium at the las vegas strip. also add the cinema tickets, overseas revenues like UK, philippines etc. also add the merchandising profit that this fight would generate and $80M is an easy one for floyd if pac had accepted the $40M fix fee without any revenues from PPV and others.

now care to answer my question. if this fight woudl generate only $81.5M for both fighters, why did floyd rejected arum's offer of $45M/$50M under the same terms that he offered pac?

You brought the wrong info to the table. And it does have to do with averages as well as bottom line.

Bottom line is Floyd holds the 3 top revenue producing fights of all time:deal

Bottom line is with or w/out Pacquiao, Floyd will hold the record for highest purse after Cotto.

Again, Floyd makes more money than Manny by far. Manny Pac's biggest guarantee thus far is 7.5 million..that is pathetic.

I'll agree to dissagree wit ya...I just think your opinion is weak and filled with holes.
