Not when Arum went back on that and said Floyd would've had to get his date pushed back further into late June :rofl

I honestly think it was all a scam to keep their names in the media for both their upcoming fights vs Cotto and Bradley. Floyd/Pac died in 2011.

If we went by sales alone then Pacquiao never deserved 50-50 with Floyd.

Floyd's cards have always been stacked, take into account opponents as well...all things considered a 55-45 split would have been more than fair. Pacquiao offered this. Floyd went silent - when asked about Pacquiao's offer Ellerbe says "Pacquio can't dictate s**t....Floyd dictates" blah blah blah...this was before the Marquez loss

I'm guessing that's a former poster or something. Sounds like a smart guy.

Floyd offered 50-50 at the outset though. Even though Manny didn't deserve it.

The catchweight helped Margarito, what does it have to do with Manny recovering from a brutal KO?

Get real, that 50-50 was not a legitimate offer. As soon as the drug testing was all agreed down to every last Mayweather demand, 50-50 was removed and an insulting flat fee was offered...

50-50 was never on the table or the fight would have got made in 2010/2011 once Manny agreed to fight night blood testing, basically every single last thing Mayweather demanded

As soon as all non-financial demands were met, 50-50 was off the table - this was before the Bradley fight as well...

    Let's be real here

Margarito had been struggling to make 147 (where he'd been since he was 18 ) and his last fight had been at 154 so cutting to anything (even 150) - was an issue. It's why he fought for the fight to be at 152. In other wordsthe catchweight didn't help him at all. In HIS opinion. based on the facts, I agree with him.
