But it was time away from the sport, was it not? The OP's arguement is that why should Pac be given the opportunity recover from his knockout, when Margarito wasn't (despite the fact that he was, and it was much longer than the one Pac's having).

would you have wanted Manny to get up even if he was jelly-legged or were you happy that he took a nap?

Everything wasn't agreed upon. Arum insisted the fight be in June even though he knew Mayweather would be in jail.

I guess I'm saying as an alternative to the fight being at 147. 154 is too high for Manny I think. Obviously winning a 154 belt at 151 isn't something to celebrate but that's more a problem with the sanctioning bodies, the weight was a compromise between their two weight classes. Margarito didn't look weakened or drained or anything to me. I'm just not sure why the TS is bringing it up with respect to Pac's need to recover from a KO.

He looked plenty drained to me. But looks don't matter. The catchweight wasn't advantageous to him at all and the fight itself was a sham. That said, definitely don't agree with TS and I'm not quite sure what he's talking about.

Those demands were changing on a monthly basis...I'll rephrase - When the non-financial demands stopped changing then 50-50 was removed. Happy now

  14. This post right here qualifies this thread to be merged into the "***** about Pacquiao and Mayweather Thread."

    This **** is so 2009.
