Talking like a ******ed idiot. Why don't you complain about Caballero who stands 5'11 in which he's calling out smaller fighters????? How come you never complain about Funeka???? I mean **** just stfu. If Williams wants to fight at 147 pounds then let him. And hell Williams lost his first fight at ww.

Williams owes Martinez and Cintron a rematch, which I see him losing to both, thus ending the hype-job he is.

I agree, this is just something he says every few months to generate another piece of free publicity.

Considering he hasn't taken his body down to 147 in two years, there would have to be a question mark over whether he even can make 147 and whether it would be a good idea to.

You a midget or something? Boxer fight in WEIGHT classes. Not height classes.

Of all the absurd things that get tossed around on ESB I think that the whole "pick on someone your own size" argument when referring to guys who fight in the same division is perhaps the most ******ed. If they weren't this size then they wouldn't be able to make the weight. If he can make that weight and fight effectively then good luck to him. That's the rules of boxing. Do you think that each fighter should decide what they think would be the fairest weight for their opponant that they should fight at? Or do you think that divisions in boxing should be based on height rather than weight. "And the new 5'8 champion of the world....." Do you think it makes more sense for a 247 pound 6'3 guy to be fighting a 147 pound 6'3 opponant?

Exactly. Whats next Williams should fight Haye since they both are 6'3? What about Margarito? He should fight at heavyweight since fighters like a prime Tyson and Tua that stands 5'11-5'10 fought at heavyweight?

at 147 if I was Cotto I would run at him at 147 because Williams would be drained and Cotto could KO him a take a huge victory over a very dangerous oponent.

That would actually be the best fight for Williams from a promotional stand point. If Williams can match Floyd's performance by dominating Shane, or even top it forcing a stoppage, there'd be a significant amount of interest in a potential Williams-Mayweather/Pacquiao fight because naturally, people are going to compare performances.

Don't think it'll be realistic, though..considering Mosley may be on the verge of retirement, or if it's even a sellable fight.

It's not so hard for him to get a fight, two names willing and wanting a rematch Martinez and Cintron easily. And if he wants to fight at 147, we know Cintron could make 147.

I would love to see PW-Martinez II with the winner fighting the winner of Margo-Cotto II

I don't think hbo is interested in Williams vs Cintron 2 cause the way Cintron went out of the ring faking an injury when the going gets tough, hbo and the rest of the people is tired of Cintron trying to do an oscar performance.

I just thought that a Fight with Shane would put him in position to fight Floyd or Pacquiao. Because I thinking fight Berto at 147lbs is a bit risky, if his goal is to set himself up for a fight with Pac/PBF. I just don't see why not take a Rematch with Martinez or a fight with Cotto, Angulo and just be CONTENT with being "THE MAN" at 154lbs
