Simple question is why you hate Williams? Cause he's not from the uk?

Don't misunderstand me folks. I really don't care how you guys feel about my opinion. The point is when a guy that's 6'3 rehydrates, he is more than likely heavier than his opponent if he's(the opponent) almost a foot shorter. If he can make weight then fine, but why not stay at a higher weight if that's where you are. Is there someone he's running from. Who wants to see another Dick Tiger vs Bob Foster. That looks like some kind of circus joke. That's right Paul, fight the guys that can barely reach you. Gatti vs Gamache is a good example of rehydration turning dangerous. Maybe he realized he was in over his head after the Martinez fight. Run to another division. Do your thang boy. Give him props all you want, but none from me at 147.

The most important thing is for Williams to keep fighting quality fighters regardless of what weight class its in. Thats what makes him one of the top fighters in the world, so if he can find a quality opponent at 147 then he should probably go for it.

Having said that, I would prefer him to fight at 154 or 60. Welterweight is losing some of its luster with guys like Cotto, Margarito, and Clottey moving up. I know Mayweather and Pacquaio fight there but I think he has almost no chance of facing either one of those guys. That probably leaves Berto and Collazo as his best opponents for now. Good fights but he might have trouble getting either one of those guys in the ring, Williams is a monster at 147 and is going to have trouble even landing fights with someone like Berto. Basically, I don't want to see Williams go to 147 and the only fights he can get are second tier type of guys because he has limited options and even those limited options won't fight him because he's hoping to land a fight with Mayweather or Pacquaio.

If he goes to 154 or 160 then he is open to a ton of options. The possibilites are numerous: Martinez, Cotto, Margaritio, Angulo,Cintron, Dzindurik, Mosley, Sturm, Clottey,Spinks, and Kirkland in a year. All those are good to great matches. But in the end I just want to see Williams fight the best out there because he's one of the few fighters in the whole sport who I know will do that.

Are you cheating on Devon. He might not like you riding Paul" The Praying Mantis" Williams like that. You don't get it. Maybe he should fight Calderon next. Let me guess, if he can make weight.

To answer your question, No he shouldn't fight Haye, but he should stay at jr. middle or middle. An 81 inch reach and he wants to fight at welter. It just looks like he's dodging the bigger fighters.
