Williams aint ever gonna be anything other than an exciting but flawed volume puncher. It was the same old Williams against Ishida but that's what makes him so good to watch, and he won every round. Good job. Usually a fighter with his build, you would expect to be an outside fighter but Williams was doing his best work on the inside. People trash his boxing ability, and he has his flaws, but he's a good fighter on the inside. Better than he's given credit for anyway. After the knockout by Martinez, a lot of that "most dangerous fighter in the game" aura is gone. He was shaken a couple times against Ishida, and people will always feel they have a chance against him. All in all, this is a guy that throws a zillion punches, always gives the fans their moneys worth, doesn't do a whole lot of trash talking and just wants to fight the best guys. All that calling out he did, he was just trying to get the big fights. Guys like Mayweather, Cotto, Pacquiao. Fights that IMO he deserved to get. It wasn't to be, he's moved north, and now hopefully he can get the big names at 154, and maybe 160. Paul Williams is just a no nonsense kind of fighter, a real entertainer that deserves more recognition. Ya nahaam sayin'
