So PBC can't provide Canelo a late replacement if Plant is injured, but Pac gets one, no problem?

Interestingly why Canelo fans might blame other fighters or any media?
Canelo does not fight for stuff ppl here are calling legacy etc stuff.
He is fighting for $ and sorry, today they might bill and sell next his fight as fight for an Undisputed only if this will be fight @ 168 vs Plant.
While Canelo is Diva and always was Diva.
Money hungry Diva with interesting fanbase.

Although I think Spence's injury is legit, I think the Ugas fight is Haymon's way of squeezing a few extra dollars out of Pacquaio's marketability. I don't think Ugas would've agreed to the fight if he wasn't already on the card. That's also why none of the other PBC fighters, e.g., Porter and Garcia, got the call to replace Spence. Most importantly, it helps that Father Time is catching up to Manny and he doesn't have time to scrap an entire camp with no fight or payday.

I believe Haymon tried the same thing with Canelo. However, Canelo has a lot more leverage than Manny does at this time and he likely rejected any of the other PBC names that Haymon offered him.

Long story short, if Manny beats Ugas, the fight with Spence will happen in 2022, resulting in 2 paydays for PBC.

U think Crawford might agree to replace Spence with such short notice?
He had talked damn long time about Pacman and possible fight vs Spence Jr.

As a competitor, I think Bud would agreed to fight Manny, even on short notice. However, as someone who walks around at 175-180, I doubt Bud can safely reach 147 on less than three weeks notice.

Either way, for whatever reason, I think Arum is completely unwilling to offer Bud a changing of the guard type fight with Manny. Unfortunately, I think the Welterweight landscape is currently devoid of anyone (PBC, Top Rank, Matchroom, etc.) who can carry the mantle following a win against the soon-to-be 43 year old Pacquaio.

Ugas was on the undercard in a bout that was canceled due to a cut suffered by his opponent so it was easy to move Ugas into Spence's spot. A unique situation.

PBC don’t have an acceptable fighter on their roster to step up (Charlo and Benevidez are not acceptable options) and Plant was a poor fight anyway considering Canelo has just beaten two much better fighters in BJS and Smith.

Need to see Canelo fight people the level of Bivol and Beterbiev.

Then let the fight go to DAZN who matched the offer to both fighters and have step ins for Canelo.
Canelo agreed to go to PBC as they wouldn’t negotiate it to be on DAZN. If you can’t come to terms then let it go to someone who can agree the terms
