I think Baldo is there so he can get used to the rough housing tactics...getting floyd ready for close counters with a bigger person....i dont think he wants Baldo to emulate Hatton its impossible...but baldo is a big rough welter and thats what Floyd is trying to get used to and prepare for....i think its a very good strategy.

I like baldo sparring, you have to figure he's weighing 160-170, strong and is good to work on infighting. bet they will have baldo swarming while floyd works in the pocket, or making floyd work off the ropes with him

Baldo is an excellent choice by PBF. He's big strong and applies good pressure and has a granite chin.

I think your underrating Hatton a bit; in fact I notice he gets pretty underrated everywhere I go. Offensively, I find him pretty impressive. He slips, ducks punches and moves in with just about any shot ranging from straight rights to left hooks. He'll then smother you, push you, and sneak in hard body shots/hooks, and then step to the side and unleash more punches. He's a very clever fighter, and the only flaw I see in him is a somewhat leaky defense.

Wow.....its unbelievable how so many are underrating Hatton, particularly Mayweather hardcores.

I'll say one thing, if Mayweather beats Ricky Hatton, he wont be beating a 2nd rate fighter.
    Hatton is top notch.

Win or lose for Hatton, quite a bit in this forum are in for a rude awakening in a couple of weeks!

My friend K2ray and you are that to me at this point, each is the teller of the tale as long as the story is told. We are just two humble men caught between a rock and a hardplace and misperceptions about each other can happen - you demand, I concede - I will look into Hatton's "dubious" sparring programme if I can collect info on that and thus, prove my neutrality to you, nothing is more important. November the 27th and the clock keeps on working. Tic Tac Tic Tac. There's no much time longer until the principals smack into each other n ultimately potential collapses into sweet/sour reality - who will seize the initiative, who will allow the lead to countermove, whose strength will sputter out first, who is the harder nut to crack? Capacity of sacrifice is the measure of revolt and the father of victory - Roger and Floyd, Ricky and Billy, K2ray and Dorf 8 or dorth or dork whateva), all ESB members, UnbeatableFloyd, Standi, Pimp C, Divac, El Rey, everybody, we are getting in the MGM Grand Garden together and through our TV sets and PC screens and leaving te place together with only one truth, the sweeter the better. :thumbsup
