Well, the bottom line is that we have very little way to know whether performance enhancers are running rampant in boxing since the testing is a flat joke. The only thing we can hope for is that more people get on board Olympic Style Testing to ensure fair play.

The only reason Floyd has, is because hes trying to get Pac to do it:deal. If he really wanted to clean up the sport wouldnt he have done it earlier? Maybe when the whole BALCO scandal came out? Or maybe while he was "retired"? Not when his father accuses another fighter (that hes about to face) of being on something. Now suddenly Floyd wants to clean up the sport???

I think it is kind of a silly question like PED use for all sports. Most great athletes are from rough disadvantaged backgrounds. Then you put a man in a situation the he KNOWS is temporary and difference between being broke and set for life is a PED? We all play that honor and holier than though crap on these men, but I can't fault any man for taking them.

This crap is on the commissions. They need to step the hell up and quit letting promoters bend them over. When fights have big money involved 1mill+ there needs to be extensive testing. If not then they need to stop the testing all together.

Now it is like a dirty secret that everyone knows but nobody acknowledges.

 

We all know FMJ was protecting his own ass in asking for the tests. Nobody believes that line about cleaning up the sport. It is all politics. At the same time he was well within his rights to do so.

He couldn't have done it earlier because he didn't have the "juice" to do so. He had to become the man. He is the man now. Now Manny is taking a boring fight. Mayweather is taking a great one.

Pac didnt make things any easier by not going along. Thats what raised suspicion.
