This is Floyd's fault. Back in the day, these types of fights used to happen. Quillin is duckin Danny Jacobs on Showtime and he's duckin GGG on HBO. Jacobs is willing to fight anyone and GGG is willing to fight Quillin. Both would be great fights. Who has Quillin beat to deserve the fight against Martinez and Cotto? Besides, if Quillin is using HBO as an excuse not to fight GGG, then how can he turn around and say he wants the fight against Cotto and Martinez who are both HBO fighters. The reality is that GGG has a better chance of securing that fight than Quillin. So why is Quillin duckin Danny Jacobs?

put a fork in Quillin if fighting the likes of Jacobs is too much for him. at least the hype for this guy has completely disappeared.
I would take Quillin over Jacobs. HNN and Rosado gave Peter trouble because they could survive his power, Danny not as likely - I've seen Danny KO'd twice by Pirog and Korobov. Furthermore you have to wonder why GB has been so conservative with Danny's progress. He didn't look that great with Lorenzo, just both guys went wild, and Lorenzo got sparked. Peter's been balking about the Jacobs fight, now it sounds like his team backed out of the Golovkin fight. The guy doesn't have many legit options and he hasn't looked good in his last two fights and he didn't really look good for most of the HNN fight. Ideally he could rebuild his image into a big name with Jacobs now, Saunders, then Lemieux, then Alvarez.
i think we will end up getting quillin vs jacobs and im kinda leaning towards jacobs cuz quillin never really impressed me but quillin always finds a way to win but he never fought top guys yet. just top 10 guys not top 3 or top 5 guys yet. jacobs is just another top 10 guy at 160.
