Is his jaw located on the back of his head?

I would have loved to have seen Benn vs Jones. Talk about 'Shattered Glass' no way Jones does not get brutally KOed in that fight.

the guy is a forty year old former pound for pound best in the world. Every great that stays around too long gets stopped or kayoed...hell it even happened to Ali, iron chinned Julio Cesar Chavez, Tony Canzoneri(if yuou ever heard of him or seen him fight), etc.. I dont know what you are getting out of this thread, but Jones is a shoe-in hall of famer, was the fighter of the decade in the 90's, and an all-time great. :hi:

I agree to some sort. Roy's chin in his prime was average probably a little better than average. After he came down from 200 pounds and started to get older his reflexes went away, leg movement went away and his chin has become horrible.

Jones in his prime an OK chin little bit above average. Jones chin now glass.

LMAO you seriously think RJJ would have survived Calzaghe in his prime? Calzaghe was faster and used to KO people back then.

Benn would have finished him fast, look at McClennan, G-Man beat RJJ as an amateur, was very fast, HUGE hitter and had a cast iron jaw, Benn would have swarmed RJJ and taken him out.

MAYBE Eubank would have lost due to caution, but the Eubank that beat Benn would beat RJJ.

You're an idiot if you think differently.

Funny thing, look at all he has accomplished with his so called glass jaw. He got caught and that is all. He is not Superman like he use to be.

    Yeah, the one and only.

It's interesting to get Charlie's perspective on mainstream boxing. I am glad he's contributing the general forum more!

Some people refuse to look at the fact that Jones struggled with Southpaws throughout his career. He was knocked down by Lou Del Valle who was garbage, knocked cold by Tarver.

Calzaghe without frafgile hands would have been able to KO Jones. I have watched a lot of Calzaghe's early fights and he had some power.

I have no doubt Benn would have shattered Roy's China Chin. If Eubank was aggressive and went at Jones he would have to it just depends on what version of Eubank shows up mentally.

People forget that Benn and Eubank were damn good fighters. :deal

Yes, Benn would have KO'd Jones. Benn, who got KO'd by a jab against Michael Watson, of all people :lol::lol:

Slappy landed all his best punches on Roys 'glass jaw' and he never even looked like going down. He also couldn't stop Lacy or Kessler who have since been proven to be bums - Calslappy was ****, face it :deal
