Rubio? Hes in the same league as Murray. I dont see why someone would disparage Murray then go on to list Rubio as someone he should have fought instead. And drawing with sturm may be nothing at this point, but even that is better then anything Rubio has done in almost the last two years... his win over David is going on two years now, n hes done nothing since except lose to Jr. (badass fight)
Angulo? Thats just laughable. Angulo is barely top 10 in his own weightclass (not ranked by either ESPN or Ring, borderline by WBC and borderline by most boxing heads) and has looked so **** in his comeback since Kirkland almost killed him that mentioning him while discrediting Murray as an opponent is just funny. Id tip Murray to beat Angulo at this point. I dont like to call pro fighters garbage but.... your words there apply to perro at this point. Guy ability since coming back looks sad.
Kirkland - Another completely pointless name to mention bro. Kirkland isnt going to be fighting anytime soon. You realise hes wrapped up in legal issues with GBP right now? There was no way to make a fight with him possible since his lawsuits with his management n GBP, which hopefully are just now being wrapped up.
Lara and Vanes - both of these guys were signed to fight eachother when Martinez was looking for an opponent. They just recently scrapped that fight after Martinez had Murray as an opponent.

The ONLY guy on that list thats credible, that Martinez could fight and isnt fighting, and is avoiding at this point, is GGG.

Basically you named a bunch of guys who Martinez couldnt fight, or guys like Angulo, one whos bad at the moment, meanwhile complaining of Murrays quality.

Thats a poor list. But theres no way to make a good one. Because Martinez didnt have a lot of options.

However there is one name not mentioned that could be brought up, and thats Canelo. I know Canelo was looking to fight Martinez and not sure if GBP ever sent an offer to Lou or what happened with that, would be interesting to know why that didnt happen and why team Martinez wasnt more vocal about getting that fight.
