So walk with me, im not a shane supporter per say, but im curious....

You dont see a differance between fighting a guy whos fought twice above 130, and never in his life above 135, then making him move up two divisions from a weight class he just got to in the first place...

And a guy who moved up and looked fantastic at 147, almost as if he never left his original weight class, and then obliverated the 140lb champion....

    ?

Thank you for saying this. Some people on here do understand that you don't have to blindly follow a boxer to make yourself feel good. You can admit when someone has a downfall. Pacquiao has at least fought at the weight, and even looked very strong. We have something to gage. Watching marquez fight juan diaz does not make you think "you know... this guy can move up 20 pounds and beat mayweather"

you can't that'sthe problem and shane is acting as if he deserves all the top dogs because he beat that bum margarito who hasn't dodged a punch in his entire career that win is so overrated its ridiculous he had his chance to convincingly beat cotto and he didn't he should stop crying and just fight who wants to fight him berto clottey etc

I couldn't help but to think about the hypocrisy in Mosley's comments myself. He's just desperate and I understand where he's coming from to a certain point considering his inability to secure a big fight. He none the less is ultimately responsible for the layoff considering he turned down a Cotto rematch and procrastinated on conceding weight to Pac which paved the way for Cotto to secure the fight. I consequently have little sympathy for him.

Well, we have seen him at the weight class and one thing is for certain, his ability as a fighter is not diminished, the tools he uses (speed and power) are still effective weapons, his defence looked good,

so offensively, i would say hes about the same fighter, if not better (that having nothing to do with weight but his ever increasing ability)

So hes proven that he can still fight at his best in the higher weights, now i wonder will that be enough against naturally larger men... and so far, so good.
My question about Pac at the higher weights is how will he deal with an elite fighter that will be able to put leather on him, like a cotto. Also, i think we will see how much stronger shane, cotto, and mayweather are then him once their in the ring.

I think its hard to asess pac, definatly... but hes def much more proven at a higher weight then JMM, and has shown he has remained an effective and dangerous fighter at 140 and 147 (if only for the fact that at 140 his power is still lethal, and at 147 his speed was still alive and well)

To me i dont see a very reasonable comparison.

That being said, i dont want to see Pac at 147 anyways.... i think he IS too small, and i DONT think shane should be fighting him. But Pac has already established himself there, and is now the biggest name, and is the linear 140lb champion. Big differance.

    just IMO :good

The biggest difference is that Mosley is a boxer puncher and runs the risk of getting caught by pacquiaos speed and power. mayweather is a boxer who shuts down the guy across from him. So you have to consider that the fights are different in a lot of senses.
Mayweather is asking you to pay to watch him spar a smaller dude, Mosley is asking you to pay to watch him brawl and trade with a big punching smaller dude. Is he a hypocrite for that? Maybe, but it definitely is less offensive than what mayweather just did.

He sure did a much better job than PBF did. In fact he did a better job at 140 and 147 than Floyd did. How does pacquiao get less credit for ripping ricky hatton's head off than floyd did for putting his glove where ricky was jumping?

In fact this brings up an extremely good point.
All of floyd's wins since he went into the WW division were...
DLH by split decision. (pac retired him)
Hatton by KO in 10 (pac retired him)
    sharmba mitchell?
    zab judah....
    and.... baldomir

Look at that list and tell me pacquiao wouldn't destroy any one of those guys. Same reason floyd's been picking them.

Shane deserves to fight whoever the hell he wants. What nonsense I don't get is why the **** you're on about with all this anti-Mosley ****. I thought you had more quality than this. If Shane was willing to drain himself down below 147, what's wrong with fighting Pac anyway?

I like Floyd, but this is utter nonsense. He didn't make the weight, it wasn't right. He still would have won, but it's the principle of it.

Do you not want to see Mosley/Floyd or something? Pacquiao/Floyd is even more of a mismatch now. If Pac obliterates Cotto, then Floyd/Pac seems more competitive though.

I can't believe you had the balls to post this.
You're telling me you would rather watch mayweather vs marquez more than pacquiao vs mosley...

I would definitely avoid you in any boxing conversation ever.
