There's nothing wrong with Mosley calling out Pac and nothing wrong with Mayweather fighting Marquez either.

Trinidad's come-back fight was against Mayorga coming off a loss to Cory Spinks two divisions below at Welterweight moving all the way to middleweight. I didn't see people insulting Trinidad for that fight, if anything he was praised day and night and STILL appreciated for that fight/victory.

Tarver fought old Hopkins two divisions below moving up after two losses to Taylor. Yes, Tarver was insulted for that but it didn't go too far. That fight is quite similar to Pac/DLH though DLH got far more **** than Tarver for making the fight.

There are endless examples out there, even Pacquiao has a fight that relates to this when he fought Larios moving up two weight divisions coming off a loss to Vasquez. Frazier and Ali also fought Foster moving up from Light heavy, Holmes vs Spinks, Jones vs Ruiz and many other examples are out there.

If this fight is a "circus" or a joke to newbies in boxing then all those fights mentioned are worthless and circus acts too.

 

I understood what you meant when you said it, but there is definitely a baseline low level of boxing knowledge around here.

The point here is that I believe he is doing a similar thing, but not to the level mayweather did. pacquaio stands more of a chance against mosley than marquez did against floyd. Mosley also doesn't pretend he is the god of boxing, he just wants to fight big fights.

I'm pretty sure all of Nallege's posts have been trying to cut down something someone else said without providing any insight of his own.

 

Nothing anti-Mosley here, Mosley is one of my all-time favorite fighters and he's the fighter that made me a hardcore fan from casual in 2000 when he fought DLH.

What walk with me is saying here is the truth. People make Mayweather look bad because of the Marquez fight yet Mosley gets a pass for calling out the smaller Pacquiao and Cotto also gets a pass for calling out a smaller fighter with weight demands.

Hating is cool, let them hate but at least be reasonable.
