Just take the fight. 12.5 million sets him up for life. Win, lose or draw. Plus the chance for further financial gain in the rematch if he does win or its close. The guy can basically stop boxing after this one if he chooses to. He can't get anywhere near that anywhere else. Hearn and Joshua's big mistake is overpaying in the past...just to get the fights made.
Hes now in a position he doesn't need to chase anyone. Offer 12.5...at a push give him about 35 percent. Or move on. Let wilder pick up 2 million purses in dangerous fights.

Like hearn said on IFL, if they truly Believe the fight is worth $100m then counter offer 50/50 and guarantee AJ $50m.

Reality is they can't make any counter offer as they don't have the paper.

The point made by Hearn and Joshua is a fair one though, if the fight is a $100m fight, if they offered Joshua even $50m of that guaranteed then he'd accept it - of course he would - because they don't really believe that's the money that's in the fight.

In terms of PPV, I'd be astonished if this sells more than 75k buys in the US.

is it 12.5 flat rate ? or does he get a slice of gate and PPV?

Cause if it is flat rate then he is getting raped and I don't blame him one bit for turning this down. If its 12.5 plus a share of the revenue he would be very dumb to turn that down.

Still early days in negotiations. Many, many more lies to be told by both sides before this fight is made.

I've not been following the situation that closely, but did these clowns come back with a counter offer like they said, or were they blowing smoke up everyone's ass yet again?

Which cards and refs were these?

    Canelo v GGG?
    Hooker v Perez?
    Wilder v Ortiz?
    Holyfield v Lewis maybe?

Bar Klitschko, Joshua has dominated every opponent he's faced......

The one time he went to the cards, they were perfectly fine.

klitchsko was gonna get jobbed even without the knockdowns and if you think the cards for Parker were fine then your a big aj matchroom fanboy and aj had help from the ref in the takam fight getting rests and stopping the fight takam was fine and then you get this pathetic ref in the Parker fight aj was reffing his own fight and lol Canelo had his own cards already filled in pre fight and aj is going to be like canelo having everything in his favor it's a joke

One judge had Klitschko up and the other two had Joshua....

Pretty sure all media had Joshua up too..or at worst level.

No media had Wilder even level against Ortiz.

if klitchsko didn't get knocked down then stopped he would have won that but he wasn't gonna get it and the cards in the parker fight were worse it made it look like aj put a master class on and he didn't and ortiz was gonna get jobbed to

Jessica and Shirley should take the 12.5 million,

then after cashing their retirement check Jessica can go back to her acting career.

    How would Klit have won?

    10 even rounds.....but 3 knockdowns to 1.

And the cards in the Parker fight were pretty much perfect.

Vlad would have won by knockout if he had gone ahead and knocked Joshua out while he had him drunk and helpless! Instead Vitali told him to just take his time and box, which was a mistake, hell, it took Joshua a lot of time to get his head back and only because Vlad allowed him to................I would have bet on Vlad to win the rematch. If Steward has been in his corner Vlad would have knocked Joshua out in the 7th round............

What I don't get is who the eff has the audacity to think they are deserving of any more money when the biggest purse your boy has ever achieved under your management at 2.1m... and you think he deserves moar than the best offer ever presented to you?

Does one have to point the obvious out? W/o AJ Windmills can go back to being the King of Alabama for $1-2mil a fight, which is less than peanuts!!! :risas3:
