So, since Canelo has been made Saunders' mandatory opponent, who does Khurtsidze fight?

Why can't Khurtsidze take the WBO to court for making Canelo the mando?
If I was him, I wouldn't just lay down, let this bs slide and have Canelo take what was rightfully earned by Khurtsidze.

 

Canelo don't even want the fight so I can't see why Khurtsidze shouldn't get it.

Tbh I think BJS beats the old boy up and wouldn't be surprised if he stopped him

Khurtsidze is too plodding and too stumpy to harm BJS.

BJS would have his way with him and after the poor showing against Akavov BJS will want to make a statement. I'm expecting the best BJS ever in his next fight.

 

BJS should give Andy Lee a rematch, imo.

 

The guy has been waiting for his shot for ages now. The WBO should be taken to court if he doesn't get his shot, it's so clear that it's their greed and favoritism that has prevented him for getting it up till now.

They had 2 mandatories before Canelo was named. Khurtsidze and Tommy Langford.

 

I suspect Canelo will happily wait his turn so probably won't need to.

 

It's total bull**** that Canelo who never even fights at 160 should be in front of Khurtside,he should take it to court for sure?

 

That'd be a very nice fight, actually. The first fight was competitive and now that N'dam holds the WBA interim strap, It'd be a chance for Khurtsidze to climb up the WBA rankings and become the next mandatory after Jacobs.

On another note, Canelo doesn't seem to be eager to enforce his mandatory status and fight Saunders next. So maybe we can hope that BJS does the right thing for boxing and fight Khurtsidze next as I think Its a winnable fight for him.
