Dawg shut the **** up! You can like a fighter but damn. Personally I am a RJJ fan but even I think Cotto will not doubt be the hardest fight for Mayweather. He can block all of Mayweather's counter punches with his face and still walk right through his paper punches. What do you think will happen when Mayweather feels a body punch from Cotto do you actually think he is going to fight a great defensive fight? One thing people don't give him enough credit for is his combinaton punching, which by the way that one punch counter punching Mayweather has been doing for the last couple of years is not going to stop Cotto from throwing his combo's to the body.

The belts don't make the boxer the boxers make the belt
Quintana, Urkal, Judah, Mosley, Gomez, Margarito > Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir, Hatton

Baldomir and Hatton were players at 147lbs when Floyd fought them, They aren't players at 147lbs right now. As far as I am concerned the only players at 147lbs RIGHT NOW were already taken care of by Miguel Angel Cotto. Miguel Cotto is the man at 147lbs. Floyd can beat him or vacate his cherry picked belts simple as that.

Cotto's resume is more impressive than Mayweather's at 147. If we go by the quality of fighters, he's the number one welterweight.

At least show some dignity and intelligence and change the fraudulent title of this thread.

No one has said that Cotto hasn't done anything at 147lbs.

Why the **** does it matter if Cotto has done more at 147 than Mayweather? Mayweather is the champ. Floyd has only fought three fights at 147. His first as against Mitchell which was obviously just a tune up to see how he was at 147. In his next two fights he fought the former champ, and the current champ.

Afte that he moved UP in weight. After moving back down, he's fighting a top pound for pound fighter, who was the recognized champ at 140 lbs moving up.

I don't see what there is to complain about with Floyd's resume.

Floyd has been fighting top fighters for almost 10 years. How could he possiby still need to fight a top fighter every fight like Cotto is doing now?

Your thread is extremely weak. Baldomir can be skill-less to you but last time I checked he was the undisputed champion and the reason Mayweather is #1 at Welterweight officially(not based on opinions from a bunch of scrubs). Cotto can fight and wipe the floor with Gomez and whoever that wouldn't change the fact that the undisputed champion was defeated by Mayweather, which is why he's #1 and Cotto is #2. You also seem to forget that Mayweather moved up in weight after taking on and beating the Undisputed Welterweight champion(No, it wasn't Margarito who was in the division for ages and "coincidentally" never came close to winning that title).
