Williams was cleaner than MArgarito (who is sloppy every fight).

Diaz, well, i don't really care about that fight because i don't like to watch anyone lose 4 of their last 5 get a title shot.

Mayweather is one of the greats of our generation for his defensive work, boxing skills, and overall skillset as a fighter. His punches may "pitty pat" but he does everything else damn good (for the most part head and shoulder above the rest) and thats why he is p4p #1.

I don't look at boxing racially, and i don't think most people do. You fight how you fight no matter what your skin color is. And Diaz and Morales were both mexican.

WTF WAS THE POINT OF THIS THREAD?

    Freddy,

First of all, America did not score Mayweather/Castillo I. In fact, a lot of regular joes scored that fight for Castillo. You can't blame the population if you disagree with the decision of three judges.

Second, Morales and Mayweather in no way have the same style. Floyd doesn't get hit, shows incredible defense and lands enough -- cleanly -- to take rounds.

I know a lot of Margarito fans are struggling because their guy got picked apart, but similar to the way I and many Lacy fans had to come to grips with the Calzaghe fight (not that it was that kind of blowout), it's time to let it go.

The 12th round was so decisive in Williams' favor that it pretty much undoes any argument against him. I had him up 7-4 after 11, but winning the 12th the way he did, there's just no real controversy there. Margo had some good rounds, but he got tagged plenty in that fight, and he was outworked almost the entire time.

Don't be ridiculous, most boxing fans are not athletes of the sport. Your argument is "if you don't train like a athlete, then shut up ". Who pay's the bills ?:think
12 round fights suck, the old time fighters are the true pugilists.

Calzaghe is the greatest SMW ever.

All this rant does is make me think you're a blind MF. I haven't seen the Morales fight yet, but Williams and Caballero were CLEAR winners.
