So the plan is to lowball and drain GGG, then if he refuses he was ducking ?

That's a snake move from Canelo. GGG should keep focusing on Jacobs and BJS fights then move up.

Canelo needs to find better opposition. GGG has always n will always fight bums and guys retiring just like mayweather did then claim to be the all time best.

Why do you make so many Canelo threads? Are you in a competition with El chicano?

Exactly. Team Fishnet does not have any intention to fight G3. ScaredVarez and OscarE DelaFishnet will keep running away until 2020

40 y/o GGG @ 156 lbs looks so winnable for Nelo.

When all said and done if they never fight each other history will show that Golovkin asked for his belt and Team Canelo handed it over.

If Bowe can have it held against him so to can Canelo.

All I heard is this from Canelo:

"I invited him to come to the ring. Like we say in Mexico 'we don't f.ck around.' I don't fear anyone; we don't come to play in this sport. I fear no one in this sport. Right now I will put on the gloves again and fight him."

"I will fight him at 160lb, no problem," said Alvarez, who fought Khan at a catch-weight of 155lb.

"Weight will not be an issue - we can even fight for no belts. I would have fought him in the ring tonight. I'm not afraid of anyone."

I think GPB promotions offered GGG a 90/10 split. I think a 60/40 split would be good. Anything less is taking away from what the fighters have accomplished. It would be a mega fight so why should they both reap the rewards. ok Canelo gets 60 but 40% for GGG is fair.

I think GBP is greedy and doesn't want to give a 60/40 unfortunately. Like others on here are saying it looks like 75/25 at best, which kinda sucks for GGG

I think he has to just suck it and and take it. He will still earn alot of money and a win would make him the biggest fighter in the sport. His team have waited too long for what? A few million they could make back from future purses?

Sometimes you have to play with cards you have and hope it pays off

Maybe GGG's team would accept any offer but only @ 160 lbs.
