obviously we're going to see brock versus shane, how do you see this panning out ? im a little worried for brock, coming back after an illness as serious as that was and taking on a beast like carwin.... ouch!! i just hope lesnars on top of his game

frank mir.. well **** knows, the guy talks a lot of crap, all hes done in his last 5 fights is out box a sick nog, beat a poor mma fighter in chiek kongo... and loose his other 3... whos next ? give him JDS or Cain if theyre not already fighting eachother ??

as for GSP... his fights are a little boring now, predictable as ****... MW or i wont be intrested in any other fights... who at WW could even give him a fight ? there is nobody, daley would just be a mirror image of tonights happenings

    thoughts ??

sorry, my bad, its 6 in the morning here (or it was when i typed it) and ive just got up for work so im a little tired

i was thinking of the first lesnar fight as a potential loss when he got pummeld, im buyest cause i think that mazagatti was a bit ott deducting points when brock had only punched him in the back of the head once

i never bothered to explain that, so my bad :)

the point i was getting at was not the amount of wins/losses, just how i havent eben impressed with him lately when u break it down a bit more

I think Mir looked a little to casual when he was against the fence and then Carwin exploded and Mir was seeing stars and finished shortly after. I was sure impressed and I think Lesnar said to himself 'holy ****" Carwin is a threat to anybody and Lesnar knows he's in for a hell of a fight.

Totally agree, at one point it looked like he was nodding his head whilst having a short conversation with his corner, he seriously underestimated Carwins boxing.

Hey Jimmie, as a current mma fighter, how do you see Carwin vs Lesnar going down?

I think it is a fascinating match-up and despite the fact that both are wrestlers, this has the potential to be dynamite!!

I cannot imagine either going for a submission, nor ending the fight with a head-kick:), and despite Lesnar being the (slightly?) superior wrestler, Carwin's wrestling skill and strength are sufficient to negate any (Slight) wrestling advantage that Brock may have! This could leave us with a "Stand-up battle," (With some pummelling thrown-in, of course:)) in which Carwin (imo, the more powerful puncher and who we know can take a good hit) may very well come out on top!!

Either way, I am delighted that Carwin gets his big chance (And not because I was banging on about the guy long before it was fashionable to do so:)) and I will be backing the big fella to beat Brock, in a fight I can't wait to watch!!
