I can't see how Haye should be paid the same as Wlad, he hasn't done enough in the division to warrant a 50/50 split. However, I think they need to do whatever it takes to make this fight happen... I would like to know how good Haye really is as a Heavyweight.

yes because there's loads of good heavy's out there to make big money from ? :huh fact is after wlad and vitali there's really nobody

you are all thinking of it in the wrong context, wlad needs to allow 50/50 and make as much as he would from 3-5 fights against the fat midget bums or price himself out and take the bum route. It's not about who deserves what it's about the fight between the two would make both a lot of money Haye doesn't even need wlad, WLAD needs Haye.

It won't matter because Haye will make the money of his name alone, similar to what the Klitschko's are doing now, and he would have to fight those people even if the Wlad deal falls through, without the media exposure that would come from fighting and beating Wlad.

The question you have to ask is: where is the revenue coming from? Haye might not be as big a name as Wlad but he generates huge revenue in the UK where he is a big name. Haye did nearly 1 million PPVs in the UK for Valuev. He would do over a million, maybe upto 1.5m for Wlad. That generates at least £15 million of revenue. That's a lot of money. Wlad might be as popular in Germany as Haye is in the UK but does that translate into revenue? I can't see how it can if his fights are free to air rather than on PPV. How much does Wlad make on his German TV deal? Does anyone know? That's a big factor in this.

I agree, the split is down to who brings the money to the table, not how many titles they hold or their ranking.

Both can draw big crowds in their own countries with Haye having the added bonus of being a ppv draw in his, I'm not sure if they have ppv fights in Germany or not.
